Bill Mayer has an impressive portfolio, having created art for countless Fortune 500 brands and companies. His unique and creative works—ranging from crazy creatures to comic characters—have graced magazine covers, feature articles, editorials, advertisements, product packaging, US Postal Service stamps, posters, and even designs for Steuben Glass.
In addition to his commercial success, Bill has made significant contributions to the world of entertainment. He provided character design for 2007’s Bee Movie and 2011’s Rio. In 2022, Bill painted "Duck Judges" for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife’s Federal Duck Stamp contest. This unique piece, commissioned by Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, humorously depicted the judging process of the contest—with ducks as the judges.
A highly decorated artist, Bill received the prestigious Hamilton King Award in 2021 and has won multiple medals from the Society of Illustrators, further cementing his status as one of the most respected illustrators in the field.
